It’s been almost a year to the day I launched Life, Laughs & Lemmings (geez time flies when you’re busy ticking things off your Daisy List!).

Recently, Jeanne from Dream A Happy Life included little ole mwa in a list of her 10 favourite blogs. The ego in me said, “Woohoo! I made the list! I made the list! I made the list!” The other inordinately more pleasant, less raucaus and far more humble part of me was honoured.

To all my awesome, brilliant, kick arse readers, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of Life, Laughs & Lemmings this year. Your comments, links and emails are all very much appreciated. It’s you guys that make this community the great place it is.
So as a thank you and to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, I’ve written you a poem (Yeats will be turning in his grave)…
An Ode to the Readers of Life, Laughs & Lemmings
What the hell happened to 2009?
It went faster than light now it’s Christmas time.
Presents and parties, rum balls and tinsel holly
A fat man, red suit and a whole lot of jolly.
May your Christmas be full of laughter and fun,
And pudding, mashed spuds and bottles of rum.
Adios 09 and hello twenty 10
Good times and much cheer to you my friends!
Have a great Christmas everyone. Oh, and I’ll be offline for a couple of weeks indulging in rum balls, rum without the balls and time with family and friends. I’ll see you in the new year!
